A short week!! I spent some time looking into a 6S and visual management project for our new BIT Level 2 NVQ team. Taking an Endoscopy store room and setting some simple goals. Can an unqualified person (me!) find what they want in 30 seconds? Can the whole room (including crash trolley) be stock-checked in a minute? The team have their work cut out, but I'll be watching their progress.

Friday afternoon was spent with a team looking at the effectiveness and reporting of MHRA / SPI and manufacturer safety alerts, how they come in, how they are dealt with and who is responsible. A very serious subject made easier by a good group and some Friday afternoon leavity!!
