A list of the current projects the Lean Healthcare Academy is supporting.
If you have an idea for a potential Lean project, the Lean Healthcare Academy offers a half day diagnostic service. One of our Lean Facilitators will come to your organisation, meet with the project team, define the project scope and Key Performance Indicators and then create an action plan. This plan will include their recommendations for training and/or facilitation support to make the project a success. To utilise this service please click here to complete the Project Request Form and then email it to info@leanhealthcareacademy.co.uk. This service costs £640 plus expenses, but can be utilised for free by members of the LHA.
Business Improvement Techniques NVQ - Champions Training - Airedale NHS Trust
This shows how Airedale NHS Trust has been using the Business Improvement Techniques NVQ to support the training of its Lean Champions, to help it create a sustainable model for Lean implementation.

This Spotlight Project shows how Lean can be used to make small changes, which create a big difference.
Orthodontics 18 Weeks Pathway - Doncaster Health Community
This Spotlight Project shows how Lean techniques supported an activity which involved the whole Health Community in Doncaster. Interestingly, although it had long waiting times, the was shown to be efficient and streamlined and therefore Lean was used to help the team get a clear and accurate understanding of their capacity and demand.
